Anna Fahey

Anna Fahey is Senior Director of Sightline Institute’s Communications and Campaigns program. She oversees the organization’s communications team, coordinates Sightline’s cross-cutting campaign efforts, leads its messaging strategy program, and serves on the management team. Anna regularly teams up with a brain trust of regional partners to develop winning solutions narratives on various issues. In her popular talking points memos (“Flashcards”), workshops, and articles, she synthesizes best practices from linguistics, political science, psychology, and original Sightline focus groups and opinion research to offer guidance on communicating about tricky topics, including climate, housing, taxes, and government. She holds a BA from Smith College and an MA from the University of Washington. Anna grew up in Anacortes, Washington, where she now resides again after numerous years in Seattle.
