Talking Housing Affordability: Getting from “Me” to “We”

Sightline conducted two rounds of focus groups to explore attitudes about Seattle’s growth, density, development, displacement, and a menu of affordability solutions. Needless to say, housing is an emotional, top-of-mind issue.

Our job is reinforce that big-picture goal and the shared values that drive it, toggling from “me” thinking to “we” thinking.

Here are tips on how to do it. (You can find the full research summary here.)
