On Friday, Sightline will be at City Club’s latest event, “The Once—And Future?—Promise of Energy Innovation,” part of their series on Environment and Sustainability.
A group of experts will be talking about the promise of energy innovation, and why it always seems stuck in the future tense. Panelists include Hilary Franz, council member for Bainbridge Island; Stan Gent, President/CEO of Seattle Steam; Andy Wappler, VP of Corporate Affairs for Puget Sound Energy; and Denis Hayes, President/CEO of the Bullitt Foundation. The panel will be moderated by Grist’s ever-excellent David Roberts.
Where: Rainier Square Atrium, third floor conference room (1333 Fifth Ave, Seattle)
When: Registration at 11:30, lunch & program 12:15-1:30
Cost: $30 for general public, $25 for guests and co-presenters, $20 for City Club members.

How did the event go? I wish that I could make it. I love to see how technology is changing and helping our environment. I have a couple friends who are Boston contractors and they are really excited about the new green technology available.
