The crises in Japan have triggered a slew of pieces about nuclear energy in the US, including a half-hour special on King 5’s Up Front with Robert Mak. Mak stopped by the office to speak with Alan last week. Here’s the full video (pardon the poor audio quality):

Back in the ’80s, one of Alan’s first projects at Worldwatch was looking at the Chernobyl disaster. In the show, he briefly talks about setbacks to nuclear energy in the US and what the Japan situation could do to public opinion.
