We launched the new Daily Score site with the promise that our readers could comment without logging in, making it easier and faster to tell us what you think. But the spammers found us, fast, and we had to temporarily disable commenting on the Daily Score.

I’m happy to hear that commuters in Canada are increasingly using transit, bikes and their feet instead of cars. Here in Portland I used transit and bike for years—until I got a great job in Salem, a full hour to the south. So I have regressed to a car—but with five fellow carpoolers we are containing our carbon footprint quite nicely.
