Canada appears poised to follow BC’s (and Washington’s) lead and make emergency contraceptives available over the counter. This changes little in Cascadia (BC and most of Washington have pharmacy access to Plan B already, as do Alaska and California; Idaho, Montana, and Oregon do not), but it may further encourage similar action from the temporizing FDA.
