How long can we go?
Created for Sightline's 2007 Cascadia Scorecard, this map displays results for the most important measure of health: our life expectancy. Far from being a smooth gradient, those with the shortest and longest life expectancies can live side by side. We can make dramatic improvements simply by following the example of British Columbia; if BC was independent, it would rank the second-longest lifespans of any country on earth. View the map.
